1.How do you wash an air mattress cover?
Zip off the pillowtop cover and follow the care instructions on the label. Then, let it air dry completely before putting it back on the mattress. Never wash or submerge the air mattress itself; instead, you can use a damp cloth to wipe the base clean. Easy care means it's always guest-ready.
2.What size sheets fit an air mattress?
Use standard twin or queen sheets to match your air mattress size. More often than not, deep pocket fitted sheets tend to work the best, since they wrap snugly around the pillowtop and stay put through the night. Fresh, breathable sheets also go a long way toward making guests feel right at home.
3.Will my air mattress lose air overnight?
A little softening in the first few nights is totally normal for an air mattress, especially if you don't deflate it. New air chambers stretch as they settle in, and cooler room temps lower air pressure; this becomes even more notable if you're outside. Be sure to top it off with the built-in pump. If it keeps losing air after the first week, check for a leak and make sure you patch it quick.
4.Can a dog be on an air mattress?
Yes, but with a little bit of care. Claws are an air mattress' biggest enemy, so trim nails before bedtime and toss a thick blanket on top. Of course, discourage jumping, digging, and circling; that's where most punctures start! Fully inflate the mattress and remove the pillowtop cover. Then listen closely for a hiss near the seams and valve, since that's where leaks love to hide. No luck there? Don't panic; spray soapy water across the surface and watch for bubbles. From there, mark the spot so it's easy to find again.
